Submission Guidelines for The Postmodern Experience

Postmodern Experience Submission Requirements

1.) When sending a story to us [postmodern.experience@gmail.com], please structure the subject of the email to read:

EPISODE THEME [in caps]; "Title"; Author

example:

JOBS; "The Patty Flipper"; Jonathon McMahon

This set-up makes for a less cluttered in-box, and we can be quicker with our responses.

2.) Word count: 1500-2500 words for fiction and creative non-fiction pieces.

We accept poetry! Please send 3 to 5 poems at a time.

Please limit poems to 75 lines.

Mention that your submissions are poetry in the body of the e-mail.

3.) Submit all work as an attachment in MS WORD or a word processor compatible with WORD.

4.) Charlie will respond within 7 days of receiving your story that it is being evaluated.

Usually, we will not comment on stories that are not accepted.

5.) Once a piece is accepted, The Postmodern Experience is free to suggest revisions on any aspect of the story [theme, grammar, length]. All revisions will be dealt with via e-mail, in MS WORD, using the editing tools included in the software. We are trying to make this a paperless project.

Revisions for accepted works will be sent back within 14 days.

PLEASE NOTE: PME does NOT hold exclusive rights to your story after it is broadcast. The author can use the recording in his or her portfolio or go about getting it published via some other channel.
